Preserving fragile, fleeting moments of natural beauty

I've been scuba diving since the year 2000 and feel like an ambassador of sorts for the underwater world. Most of what I photograph can never be duplicated. The scene exists in that moment and then it is gone. The ocean is a harsh environment, many sea creatures don't live long and in some weird way I feel like I am preserving their existence.

I am obsessed with hunting for nudibranchs, which are flamboyantly colored sea slugs. Bizarre crustaceans keep me up at night (to go night diving, they're nocturnal). I am also drawn to the incredible patterns and colors, which you can experience through my abstract photographs.

Every photograph is a reminder of a magical journey to another world...
